Delete Your RecipeBank Account

This page explains how to delete your RecipeBank account and the data associated with it. You can do this at any time; you do not need the app installed to make the request.

How to request deletion

Email support@recipebank.food from the email address on your RecipeBank account, with the subject "Delete my RecipeBank account." We will verify the request and delete your account.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• All recipes you have saved — titles, ingredients, instructions, tags, notes, source URLs, and associated image references.
• Any preferences associated with your account.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Timeframe and retention

We delete your account and associated data within 30 days of verifying your request. We do not retain your personal data after deletion, except where we are required to keep limited records to comply with the law.

Deleting some of your data (without deleting your account)

You do not have to close your account to remove data:

• You can delete individual recipes at any time from within the RecipeBank app — they are removed from your account immediately.
• To request deletion of specific data while keeping your account, email support@recipebank.food from your account email describing what you'd like removed, and we will delete it within 30 days.
